From January 1st, 2015, Bonfiglioli Riduttori will acquire from Comer Industries the electric wheel drive units and planetary wheel drives product lines.
Bonfiglioli Riduttori and Comer Industries announce a historic agreement which allow both companies, leaders in the design and production of power transmission systems, to achieve their respective long-term strategic objectives.
Starting from January 1st , 2015, Comer Industries will transfer to Bonfiglioli Riduttori the entire equity stake of the Company dedicated to the production of its electric wheel drive units (electrically operated wheel drives) and planetary wheel drives product lines.
Comer Industries wishes to concentrate and optimize its resources on “core” product lines for the agricultural and industrial sector. For Bonfiglioli this acquisition represents an extraordinary opportunity to expand its range of planetary wheel drives, increasing market share and completing its offer of solutions for electromobility, in particular for the material handling sector.
The agreement between the two Companies is aimed at optimizing their product ranges and creating synergies to increase competitiveness in their respective reference markets, in line with the strategic plan of the two Companies.
