Three new developments from Euroswitch, a leading company in the field of switches, level sensors and temperature sensors.
The Italian company Euroswitch, based in Sale Marasino (Brescia, Italy), belongs to the Mont.el Group, an integrated network of companies operating in evolved outsourcing for the supply of products and all-round services in the areas of wiring harnesses, electronic control and regulation devices, level sensors, pressure switches, and temperature and rotation sensors.
Euroswitch offers three new developments for 2013; here the technical details.
Horizontal level sensor for lateral mounting
Euroswitch is now launching the brand-new model P535 horizontal level sensor, designed for lateral mounting with a G 1/2″ BSPT fitting.
The P535 sensor is available in two standard materials, polypropylene and nylon, the choice of which depends of the liquid being controlled. The electrical connection options are with a built-in M12 connector or a harness.
The P535 horizontal level sensor is the latest addition to the already vast range of Euroswitch level sensors, which are designed and built to the customer’s specifications and have different operating principles based on the specific applications.
Maximum stability and precision
- The new model P598 temperature sensor, which transforms the Ohmic signal directly into a 4-20 mA stable and standardized signal.
Another of Euroswitch’s innovation is the brand-new model P598 temperature sensor, which transforms the Ohmic signal directly into a 4-20 mA stable and standardized signal. The operating principle of this new product is based on the use of a PLC for continuous monitoring of the temperature in the system and regulation of the intervention and alarm thresholds. The parts of the sensor in contact with the fluid can be made of brass or stainless steel.  The 598 sensor is the latest addition to the extensive range of standard temperature sensors by Euroswitch, which also makes any kind of custom probe or sensor.
Dual analogue output with 4-20 mA continuous signalÂ
The third new products, presented this year by Euroswitch, is an innovative temperature and level sensor with 4-20 mA separate outputs.
This sensor is designed to meet demand from some customers – mainly manufacturers of large hydraulic units – for simultaneous dual control of the oil level and temperature parameters.
It combines in a single device, which can convert ohm signals from the sensitive elements straight into 4-20mA standard signals, the features of a temperature sensor and a level sensor.
Both temperature and level can be controlled continuously via a PLC and any intervention thresholds and alarms can be handled.
The added advantages of this product combining two normally separate functions include easy installation and a competitive price.
