Aignep is reference partner for quality and excellence of the Made in Italy

Specialist in pneumatic automation

A wide product range and a huge stock availability today allow Aignep brand to be acknowledged as reference partner for quality and excellence of the Made in Italy.

Apertura COPRIRE LOGOService, quality and new products. These are the successful factors on which Aignep has always focused to extend its vision beyond the delicate time of international crisis that still seems to grip economy. The company, headquartered at Bione (BS), today can rely on the engagement of 150 employees, exports over 70% of its production and is present with its own branches in the United States, Spain, Switzerland and the latest one in Brazil. Outstanding figures that, coupled with the consolidated presence in 80 Countries and dozens of distributors spread worldwide, nowadays make the brand universally acknowledged as symbol of the made in Italy quality in the pneumatic automation sector. As important is the entrepreneurial farsightedness that, over the last difficult years, has led to the inauguration of the new productive site at Bione (BS). It is a site taking up a good 22,000 m2, arranged on more levels, which includes also an enormous automatic 60 m-long warehouse, able to store about 18,000 items, for a total of 15 million pieces.

«Nowadays we produce for our own stock – specifies the general manager Graziano Bugatti – instead of upon job order. Starting from 2010, the use of this automated warehouse has allowed drastically reducing the delivery times of goods, even to 2-3 days. In line with the requirements of the market that increasingly calls for “just-in-time” supplies».

Product quality matching process quality, granted by a turnover of machines having an average age that does not exceed 7 years.

«To assure a high qualitative standard – further adds Bugatti – we constantly invest in advanced transfer machines and multi-spindle lathes, in CNC and faster and more precise assembly isles».

A process in which the delicate phases of assembly and testing of the whole range of fittings and accessories are carried out in fully automated way and where human operators are entrusted with the control and supervision function only.

Product innovation

As witness that at Aignep innovation and dynamism are never-ending, the above mentioned numbers must be completed by others, concerning product novelties.

«Just last year – highlights Bugatti – we designed and manufactured 103 new products and a complete cylinder line. Also 2014 was characterized by the release of great novelties and, precisely, we launched on the market the Infinity air pipeline in the diameter 80 mm, the stainless steel miniballvalves Ghinox, as well as the quick couplings for big flow rates DN10 and DN12».

More in detail, the new line of pipes and fittings with 80 mm diameter is dedicated to medium-big installations that are generally fed by 200-300 kW compressors. Fittings are made of die-cast aluminium with integrated flange to facilitate the aluminium pipe insertion. The connection is made by tightening the 4 flange nuts, like for the bigger 110 mm diameter. Total airflow and purity are granted by the inner geometries, studied to eliminate turbulences and frictions and therefore pressure drops.

«This product novelty– adds Bugatti – was presented last June during the first international conference of Infinity distributors. We also released our new 2014 catalogue, including the widest range of pneumatic articles ever proposed».

Among the new products stands out also the above mentioned line of Aisi 316 stainless steel “Ghinox” miniballvalves. They are on/off shutoff valves with very compact sizes and similar to the already widely marketed Ghilux.

316 stainless steel components and Fkm food seals allow the product use both in the agri-food sector and in extremely aggressive environments (including offshore, chemistry, medicine etc.).Besides, also the series of quick couplings is widened by the introduction of two product ranges designed for the passage of relevant flow rates. The 710-810 series, with nominal passage of 12 mm compliant with the Uni Iso 6150:B17 regulation and the series 720-820 with a passage of 10 mm, known on the market as 1/2” European industrial profile.

A long history of successes

After more than twenty years, Aignep can actually be considered a reference partner in the sector, boasting a past of experience and know-how started in 1992, when Bugatti Group took over a small family-owned company specialized in subcontracting machining and in the production of a small range of fittings. Since that time, thanks to a new business asset, the company’s history has radically changed and started an impressive development that year by year has transformed that small company into a big reality. The boost was given by a great will of doing, transmitted and lavished by the owners and resulted, over the years, in a flexible internal productive organization and in continuous investments aimed at the range enlargement.

«Until 2000 – underlines Bugatti – all the efforts were concentrated on the completion of the range of fittings and accessories that today is composed by a good 14 lines». Afterwards, Aignep undertook the “total pneumatics” course that, in slightly more than 10 years, at first let it to create from scratch some series of pneumatic cylinders, then the FRL range and finally, in 2011, the solenoid line.

Witnessing a reality that constantly evolves and expands, the cylinder range was notably widened and, at the end of 2010, they took over Blue Air Srl, company specialized in the production of kits for the manufacturing of pneumatic cylinders.

2004 was instead the year of the launch of Infinity line, a broad array of pneumatic metal couplings and aluminium pipes calibrated for air distribution plants. A line that has aroused lively success, assuring high energy efficiency that is completing the installation of compressors in several new productive sites in the world.

Since 2005, they have instead started a completion process of the already existing ranges with targeted and specific products: a broad array of stainless steel fittings, safety sockets, certified couplings for the food industry and a range of all-metal automatic couplings.

«After a great economic effort at the beginning – adds and ends Bugatti – and thanks to a notable and constant technical commitment, the solenoid valve series is living a continuous evolution, both from the point of view of the range breadth and of production optimization, aimed at granting excellent quality and immediate deliveries at a competitive price».
