
A new plant in Bangalore strengthening global strategy
Hydreco Hydraulics, a member of the Daikin Group, officially inaugurated its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bangalore. The event marked a significant milestone in the company’s expansion strategy, strengthening its commitment to the Indian market and reinforcing its role as a key player in motion control technologies. The inauguration ceremony was attended by customers, suppliers, institutional partners, and team members from across India and abroad.
«India plays a pivotal role in Hydreco’s long-term vision. This new facility not only boosts our production capabilities, but also allows us to localize engineering, improve lead times, and serve our customers with greater agility», said Katie McColl, CEO of Hydreco. «The new site confirms our confidence in the technical capabilities, energy, and strategic relevance of the Indian industrial ecosystem, which we view as a key driver of Hydreco’s future growth».
A plant for innovation and growth
The Bangalore Nelamangala plant spans a covered area of 2500 sqm and is equipped with advanced machinery, expanded assembly lines and modern logistic infrastructure to support high-performance applications in agriculture, construction, and industrial automation.
Ananth Bangalore Suryanarayana, Managing Director of Hydreco India, added: «We are proud to open this plant in the heart of Karnataka. It reflects our ambition to grow with our customers, invest in local capabilities, and deliver engineered solutions tailored to India and the wider APAC region».
The new Nelamangala plant also hosts 800 sqm of sustainable offices and will serve as a regional hub for production, training, and engineering support, further embedding Hydreco within the global network of the Daikin Group.
