Cetim Selects HyperWorks to Expand its CAE Capabilities

Cetim (Centre technique des industries mécaniques), the largest technical center for industrial research in France, has chosen Altair‘s computer-aided engineering (CAE) suite HyperWorks to expand its technical capabilities in development projects. In particular, Cetim will leverage OptiStruct, RADIOSS, HyperMesh and HyperView to benefit from the advanced optimization and the high-performance meshing capabilities of the suite.

From consulting to testing and from engineering services to technical training, Cetim provides a comprehensive service offering to all types of companies within the mechanical engineering arena. The company covers multiple simulation domains within its industrial and research projects, including NVH, fatigue, and stress-strain analysis. Cetim uses Altair products for linear static validation of a test bench as well as for the optimization of components made of multilayer composites. Cetim’s expertise has been leveraged across multiple industries, including transportation, aeronautics, railways, space, and defense.
