A new important milestone in quality standards for Euroswitch, the well-known designer and manufacturer of sensors of excellence, which is based in Sale Marasino, northern Italy.
The company has obtained the new prestigious international certification, the UL-CSA mark: the most accredited and accepted evidence of product conformity with the US and Canadian safety requirements. The certification proves that Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) has carried out tests on representative models of Euroswitch products, namely the range of pressure switches with SPDT contact, and assessed them to be compliant with the applicable standard in relation to their potential fire risks, electric shock and mechanical hazard.
The UL-CSA mark is a symbol of trust and safety universally recognised by customers and consumers as a tangible guarantee of constant compliance of the manufacturer with the most stringent safety standards, especially in the sale and installation of electrical appliances.
The new international certification validates the determination of Euroswitch to gain a strong foothold in the highly competitive global market, standing out for the excellence of its service and high quality products. The company, which belongs to the Mont.el Group, is already certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 for Environmental Management Systems; it has also obtained IEC EX Certification for the use of Pressure Gauges/Vacuostats in mines and non-mines (Outside Europe) and ATEX Certification for use of Pressure Gauges/Vacuostats in mines (Europe).
