RODOGRIP precision ground locknuts are used to keep accurately set and in firm position on threaded shafts such parts as bearings and pulleys. These locking nuts feature a built-in locking system and therefore come in a compact and space-saving design, there is no need to locking accessories, like conter-locknuts or washers. Still they feature highly accurate machined surfaces and high level of planarity precision of surfaces.
RODOGRIP are typically used in CNC driven machinery, often in connection with axial, angular contact or tapered roller bearings, to keep them firmly in place and also pre-set their clearance range. The installation, pre-setting and tightening actions can be performed very quickly, thus reducing time necessary for assembling and setting.
All contact surfaces match the threaded shaft profile and no material deformation will take place; once un-tightened, RODOGRIP precision locknuts can be re-set in a different position, if necessary.
The production range is made out of several construction series, with radial, axial or slanted tightening points. An exhaustive variety of RODOGRIP parts are kept ready in stock, from very small size with thread 10 mm up to thread 200 mm, including stainless steel series and parts with left-hand thread.
Very quick delivery is possible also for small quantities, global master distributor is GETECNO Ltd., located in Italy.
