The Italian company OP Srl, for over thirty years manufacturer of hydraulic hose and tubing processing equipment, has introduced into its range of machinery for flexible hoses the new cutting machine TF6.
It is an ideal equipment for cutting flexible hoses with capacity up to a maximum diameter of mm 160 (6.299”). The ergonomic design favours its user-friendliness, making it suitable for cutting big-size mass-produced spiral hoses. Its very sturdy structure enables it to withstand the strong vibrations generated while cutting. It is equipped with 11 kW self-breaking motor, pedal-equipped electric drive control, suction connection, drawer for cleaning the machine internally and self-centring system to permit the correct hose positioning during the cutting phase. The blade, with diam. 650 mm, is housed in an appropriate section insulated from the rest of the machine; the cutting area is protected by a large wire mesh for the operator’s safety. The control is performed by PLC with 7” colour touch screen with which it is possible to create and to store recipes, to set the hose diameter –in order to determine a phase of fast feeding and a phase of slow adjustable cutting according to the hose typology to be cut -, and to fix a return parameter – to gain in productivity– and increase the cutting speed. The stroke counter is included in the software. Upon demand, the TF6 cutting machine can be equipped with fume extractor, blowing kit for the cleaning while cutting, measuring hose-holder, hose guide with meter counter (in millimetres or inches) and special voltage as to the standard 400V 50Hz 3ph.
