The Italian company Maselli consolidates its product range by introducing an innovative sensor using infrared ATR optical technology which has made it possible to build an instrument for analyzing the dissolved CO2 content in sparkling wine and soft drinks without the need for moving parts or carrier gas (nitrogen). This means the instrument is extremely compact, sturdy and reliable, requiring almost no maintenance and no operating costs. The UC07 can be installed directly on the line, avoiding the need to build a bypass section. The sensor is coupled to a receiver for the management of alarm conditions and the display of system parameters and relative trend. Accuracy is between +/- 0.1g/l and the response time is around 3 seconds.
